Aristea Paraskewopoulos is a PhD candidate in the EU-funded project The International Dimensions and Effects of Populism (IDEoPOP) at the University of Freiburg. She holds a Research Master degree in European Studies from Maastricht University and a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Cologne. In her research, she focuses on the engagement of populist leaders in the so-called Global South with the Liberal International Order.
