Alumni - Anna Starkmann M.A.

Anna Starkmann was a research associate at the Chair of Multi-Level Governance since September 2016. She worked in the research project "Towards an Increasing Regionalization of International Politics? Comparing the Development of External Competencies of Regional Organizations over Time", funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation, from September 2016 to August 2018. Afterwards, she was a research associate at the Chair of Governance in Multi-Level Systems.

She received a B.A. in European Studies from the University of Passau and completed a M.A. in Political Science at the University of Heidelberg and Aarhus University, Denmark. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Department of Political Science, University of Heidelberg and the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES).

Anna Starkmann was the PDG Jacek Kugler Political Demography and Geography Student Paper Award runner up at the 2019 ISA Annual Convention.
